While the share of electricity in our energy mix is expected to double within 25 years, electricity consumption is falling and hopes for recovery are low. What are the consequences on our decarbonization trajectory? On the pace of deployment of carbon-free energies and the financing of nuclear power plants? Being currently overcapacity in electricity, can France really avoid deploying new means of production? What are the solutions to accelerate the transition from fossil fuels to electricity again?
