LABEX Finance and Sustainable Growth (FCD)

Steering finance toward sustainable objectives

The LABEX FCD is a network-based research center bringing together leading teams in mathematics, economics, and management. It federates research chairs and initiatives affiliated with the Fondation du Risque, the Institut Europlace de Finance, and the Fondation Dauphine.

Its mission is structured around three main pillars:

Understanding economic and financial dynamics to better inform decision-making;
Integrating principles of responsibility, fairness, and sustainability into financial practices;
Bringing together disciplines (mathematics, economics, law, management, etc.) to provide a strong scientific foundation for sustainable finance.

Research Support Schemes

Seed Funding – €150,000 per year

Objective: to facilitate the creation of new research chairs or initiatives.

Up to €75,000 per project, including €25,000 that may be allocated to outreach and promotion with partners.
Total funding is conditional upon the success of the fundraising process.

Funding for Conferences, Workshops, and Summer Schools

Eligibility criteria:

An organizing committee composed of ILB researchers
An external scientific committee
An open conference format (call for papers or open participation)
Particular attention paid to early-career researchers and gender balance
A financial and scientific report is required after the event

Regular Seminars – €5,000 Funding

Objective: to facilitate the invitation of international researchers within LABEX-labeled programs.

Deadline: applications must be submitted three months before the event
Next call: April 2, 2024
Submission deadline: May 31, 2024
