With the objective of strengthening its links with the academic world and encouraging studies related to financial regulation, the Autorité des Marches Financiers (AMF) is launching the 2025 edition of its “Young Economic Researcher” award. This award recognizes the best research on economic and financial topics of interest to the financial market regulator.
To be eligible, the candidate must:
hold a doctorate;
have as main affiliation an institution located in France (university, school or economic research service) or have obtained a doctorate in France;
pursue a research project in finance relevant to a financial market regulator;
not be older than 35 years of age on December 31, 2024.
Send a single file including:
a curriculum vitae (including a list of current publications);
proof of age (copy of identity card or passport) attesting to being under 35 years of age on 31/12/2024;
a summary of the thesis in a few pages accompanied by the defense report;
a maximum of two articles published in connection with topics of interest to the regulator.

Submission deadline: September 30, 2025.
The selection of applications will be carried out by the AMF Scientific Council and the services of the Authority. Based on the opinion of the Scientific Council, it will be up to the AMF Board to designate the winner.
