FiDurable renews its partnership with the PARC Foundation — Paris Agreement Research Commons

While we celebrate the 10 years of the Paris Agreement, FIdurable is delighted to renew its partnership with the PARC Foundation — Paris Agreement Research Commons, carried by theLouis Bachelier Institute.
Two years already of a joint commitment in the service of the same ambition: support, structure and disseminate interdisciplinary academic research on the major challenges of climate and financial transition.

A foundation at the heart of Paris Agreement science

Created to provide a sustainable and collaborative framework for research on the implementation of the Paris Agreement, the PARC Foundation brings together a large ecosystem of public, academic and financial actors.
Among his co-founders figure theADEME, École des Ponts ParisTech, the European Climate Foundation (ECF), the Directorate-General of the Treasury and The Institute of Actuaries.

Together, they support independent and innovative works, conducted by interdisciplinary research teams, in order to provide economic and financial actors with analysis and management tools needed to achieve global climate goals.

Structuring work for sustainable finance

The PARC Foundation regularly publishes reference reports and studies to measure the progress of financial policies and strategies aligned with the climate trajectories of the Paris Agreement.

His latest publication, “Financial sector's path to global climate goals”, offers a Unpublished state of affairs of the various existing methodologies to collectively assess the progress made by financial institutions in the area of climate transition.
The report identifies the strengths, limitations and harmonization needs of these approaches, thus contributing to the construction of a common framework for evaluating the climate commitments of the financial sector.
